Jacky trained as an actress at the Guildford School of Acting. Her credits include Jonathan Miller’s BBC TV production of The Beggar’s Opera, presenting the children’s TV series Playdays, George Sluizers film Crimetime, TV soap Brookside and Channel 4’s late night comedy series Get Up, Stand Up. She has appeared in numerous TV and cinema commercials, the most recent being for Spec-Savers.

She has worked extensively in the theatre in England and abroad. Acting credits include The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, The Merchant of Venice, Blithe Spirit, An Awfully Big Adventure and in the West End in Viva Francesca.

She worked with the BBC English World Service Rep Co and BBC Schools Radio and presented the BBC Radio 5 programme Time & Tune. Then began a very successful voiceover career, working in all areas of the industry, from TV and radio commercials and promotions to documentaries, EFL projects and talking books. Clients include BBC, Talking Pages, Chupa Chups, Furniture Village, Emirates Airlines, NatWest Bank, Disney, Linguaphone and Penguin Young Readers
